RED SEA MOUNTAIN TRAIL
In January 2019, our founders joined the Red Sea Mountain Trail‘s team by becoming the trail’s official storytellers and documentarians. We spent 8 days on the trail to capture the story of the trail, the breathtaking nature, and the story of the Maaza Tribe. We hiked, climbed, repelled, walked on shaky ridges and scrambled up mountains, and teared up several times from the views we saw.

Marsa Alam is a small and relatively new town on the Red Sea, a thriving touristic destination.
The Eco Tourism pioneers in the region have been depending on diesel generators since ’86 and were dreaming of the day they can use solar or wind-generated power.
This is the story of the change from diesel to solar energy led by KarmSolar in the region.

See Another Side invites the viewers to see different places through photographers' eyes while discussing their passion for documentation.
On the pilot "Downtown Cairo", we took photographers Nelly El Sharkawy and Lamia Hassan for a walk through the streets and landmarks of Downtown Cairo and we talked about the history, architecture and how each of them see Downtown and what they hope to achieve through their documentation.

IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING
THE JOURNEY TO IRONMAN 70.3
Amr Shaker is a 55 years old businessman who has always struggled with his weight. In 2019, after reaching his highest weight and after discovering he isn't able to run for 500m, he signed up for Ironman 70.3. What he thought was tough, felt impossible especially that Covid 19 hit once he started to train, making him unable to meet his trainers or to train in a group, adding another challenge to his journey.
This film tells the story of how sports changed Amr and his life, how he dealt with the challenges, and what he dreams of today

NILE ODYSSEY
In July 2020, 4 Egyptian guys ventured out to cross The High Dam Lake -also known as Lake Nasser- from Any Simbel to Aswan using Kayaks, making it the first kayak crossing of the lake.
While Nour El Din had very little equipment with him and had limited access to the equipment, he managed to produce this short documentary to memorize the adventure.

In April, 2019, Nour El Din led and filmed a hiking trip to Everest Base Camp for Wild Guanabana.
This film is Nour's journey of wonder, from being fascinated by Nepal and the trail through social media to living on it and experiencing it himself.

In February 2020, we documented Egypt's biggest running event of the year. On the day, 4000+ runners from 77 countries ran to the magnificent background of the Giza Pyramids. This film is a documentation of the highlights of that day.

In July 2020, as a nation-wide curfew was imposed to fight the spread of Covid 19, Cairenes took flying kites as a hobby to combat boredom. The sight piqued our curiosity to find the other end of the thread and to talk with one of the artisans making the kites in the district of Imbaba, Cairo
